Tonight we have an obituary from 1910 for James Richard Simmons that was published in the Confederate Veteran, thanks to Judy Penrod Purcell. We also have a letter that was first written in 1851 in Union Parish, and published in the 1929 Farmerville Gazette, thanks to Tim Hudson. Will have about 30+ obits from the yrs 1866-1893 that Tim sent - will take me a few days to formatt and upload them.
