Pardon my excitement, but tonight has been exciting. Roy Austin's and Jim Park's checks arrived in the mail tonight, which spurred me to think, "I ought to e-mail Linda and find out when we might see our images online." My e-mail arrived just as she was composing one to me to let me know the images were uploaded! To quote Linda, "What timing!" Of course, the 1840 images are not up yet, because I haven't gotten the CD from Blue Roses yet, so I haven't sent it to Linda yet. And I'm not sure why yet, but I'm waiting to hear from Linda as to why the 1900 wasn't among the images uploaded. May have been because I sent her the 1900 and 1910 in a double CD case and she overlooked it. Let you know as soon as I know. But in the meantime, go look at Roy Austin's 1870 Census (THANKS, ROY!!) - all ready for you to start transcribing, Mary Margaret! and go look at Diane Smith's 1880 Census (THANKS, DIANE!!) - all ready for the anxious Alice Ogles to get her fingers on! and go look at Allana Bosch's 1900 (THANKS, ALLANA!!) - maybe some brave soul will want to transcribe it soon. Be patient Mary and Debi and Jim - 1840 and 1900 will be with us soon! Thanks, to all you great folks!! "We're the best!!" to paraphrase Jim Parks.
