While looking for my great grandmother's grave, I did notice there were some African Americans buried there. I believe their last name was Burks. The cemetery is just over the Ouachita Parish line in Union Parish. There was also graves from a Dr. Richardson. Where the cemetery is was once called Walnut Lane, Louisiana in 1914. I saw the town listed when I obtained a copy of my great uncle's marriage license. I am wondering if this was an Indian town at one time. Nancy
