His ashes were scattered between Joe's pond and the old Bagwell homeplace in the Evergreen Community. Among the creeks and hills of Evergreen was where he wanted to be. Birds will sing in harmony in this special place where Joe will rest. He was born the third son of Mr. & Mrs. L.C. Bagwell on the 25th day of June, 1922 and departed this life on the 24th day of May, 1997. Joe was a man who had a special relationship with this lovely hallowed earth in a community called Evergreen.
