    1. Stow Cemetery
    2. Karen, thank you for your response. For many months after I sent the TYPED Cemetery data and pictures of the sixteen graves you wrote that you had not set your scanner up but WOULD put them on the site soon. You NEVER did. I wish you had TOLD ME you DIDN'T WANT THEM. You promised to return the original pictures as soon as you had scanned them. Would you mind sending them back if they are no use to you? Perhaps some other coordinator would be able to use them. It took me from 1969 until the year 2000 to find this cemetery. I just know someone out there would also APPRECIATE THIS INFORMATION. Karen, you did acknowledge receipt of the data. Like it or not, Col. Matthew Wood was President of your first police jury. In 1829 Lincoln Parish and Union Parish, La. were part of Ouachita Territory. Matthew Wood GAVE the land to Union Parish, La. for the town of FARMERVILLE which IS in UNION PARISH. He may have a colorful background but he WAS the FIRST President of the UNION PARISH POLICE jury. Also, this cemetery was ONCE considered as UNION PARISH also. I wonder why all the Union Parish histories always include the names of the Wood and Feazel families? Both homesteads are now located on the edge of Union and Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. I appreciate your thoughts and thank you for letting me be a part of Rootsweb. Your work and contributions are appreciated. I feel as though I have intruded by sending you entirely too much data. I wish I HAD KNOWN how you felt. Feel free to DELETE any and ALL contributions I have made to YOUR site. I thought it was for those INTERESTED in UNION PARISH, LOUISIANA HISTORY. I have never claimed to be a professional nor a writer. I do claim to be interested in history. I still think the Stowe, Anderson, & Wood family played an important part in the building of Farmerville and Union Parish. Matthew Wood was also the father-in-law of Union Parish Sheriff William Carr and Union Parish Judge Taylor. Henry Anderson was one of the first school administrators of the parish. You can DELETE my FAMILY but you cannot CHANGE the past. I am hurt and disappointed by your response. I do not know what Sherry is talking about regarding typed cemetery information. I never received any. Karen Rice
