    1. IMPSON>OWENS>GUICE
    2. Hi Guys! I have a couple of new postings to make. Would appreciate any info on these guys! Thomas G. Guice married Cornelia S. IMPSON. Cornelia was first married to a Mr. Carter (would love to know his first name) and then to my Thomas abt 1882. I just recently made a trip to Baton Rouge with another Union Parish researcher to acquire all the death cert. we could find on our lines and on Cornelias son, Parrish Guice's death cert, Joe Nolan stated her last name was IMPSON. Gay, an Impson researcher, sent me info stating that her parents were: John IMPSON and Mary Catherine OWENS. Cornelia was born abt 1850 in Union Parish. Gay said she was living in the household of William and Lucy Owens WILHITE in the 1880 census of Union. There is a John IMPSON mentioned in the Providence Church material Tina sent to me but I'm not sure if he's my IMPSON. I need to get back to the courthouse in Union Parish but in the meantime, anyone recognize any of these guys? Thanks, Debi

    1. FITZGERALD, SHINPOCH AND RISINGER
    2. Ruth Stout
    3. O.K., since everyone seems to be VERRRRY quiet, I will give you something to think about, look for, and, hopefully, come up with some answers for me. First - one of my major brick walls. Francis Fitzgerald was born about 1854. She was the daughter of William C. Fitzgerald and Catherine Edmunds. She married David Gregory Norris (my paternal great-grandfather) August 3, 1870 and died shortly after the 1880 census. I have the Edmunds line. But I cannot give William Fitzgerald a father. My theory is that Garrett H. Fitzgerald was the father but I cannot prove it. Do any of you have this Fitzgerald in your data? Next, Allen Shinpoch, son of William Shinpoch and Martha Carroll, married M. Risinger on January 3, 1869 (as recorded in Union Parish Marriage Book C, pg. 098). There is never another mention of Allen Shinpoch and M. Risinger Shinpoch anywhere that I have been able to find. I have checked every southern state census for 1870 and 1880 and most of the western states. He simply disappeared. Are there any Risingers out there who may have M. Risinger and who may know what happened to her? Thanks for any information you may have. Ruth Stout
