3. Hi! Sorry to hear that Debi is not going to be there. I will be there but will also be going back in July and probably other times during the summer and fall. I, too, will be glad to do lookups. Concerning cemetery lookups in the Nolan volumes, I did look at those and there are a few errors so be sure to check them out anyway if you think some of your folks might be there. I found several ancestors that I had not found previously in those volumes so that was wonderful for me. The fact that the small ones are there is what makes it interesting for me. My great-grandmother is buried (it is supposed) at the Byram Family Cemetery. Now how many of you ever hear of that one? Until just recently it was totally unmarked and if you blinked driving from Junction City to Ruston on 167 you would miss it unless you took your eyes off the road and looked quickly to the right up on the hilltop. Looking forward to seeing and meeting many of you at the reunion. Ruth Stout [email protected] wrote: > HI Again, > > I also will be unable to attend the reunion. 3. Sue Linder-Linsley, <[email protected]> I am working on: LINDER, NOLAN, TUBB(S), HOLLOWAY, SLATER, GRIFFIN, HAMBRIC, NEWTON, HARRELL, FLORENCE, WHITESCARVER, CHINN, RILES, PITTMAN, EDENFIELD, CASKEY, STRICKLAND, BLACKWELL, CAWTHERN, HAMMONS, CANODY, APSTON, CREAMER FYI: Even if you can not attend the reunion you can enter your family information into the database. Just fill in your name and contact information and the Family group sheet, skipping the registration part of the form. <http://129.119.39.10> Our name tags at the reunion will have the surname of your earliest Union Parish Ancestors. This will help us to make connections. I will also have a computer with all the family group information so we can search and see if there is anyone at the reunion you need to make contact with. If you are planning on attending and have not entered your information yet please do so asap. I will be leaving for Arkansas next Wednesday so if you want to use the database to make connections at the reunion get your information in before next Tuesday. Sue

1. Reunion
2. HI Again, I also will be unable to attend the reunion. I wanted to remind everyone who isn't sure where their ancestors are buried in Union Parish that all 4 Volumes of the Cemetery Inscriptions of W.C. Nolan are at the Farmerville library. From what the book says, Mr. Nolan with the help of a few others recorded every cemetery, including small family ones in these 4 Volumes. For those who are going early to visit the courthouse, I know how time runs short while researching so if any of you don't get everything done let me know. I'll be going back up there in June. Debi

1. Union families - one week roll call
2. R DeCuir
3. Rena ([email protected])has suggested for a pre-reunion roll call. There will b a one week time limit on the Roll Call. She ask that everyone list their name , Email and all of the primary names they are researching. With the Union Reunion coming up it might be interesting to see how many are working on the same names in otherplaces as well as Union Parish, and will be good for everyone whether they attend the reunion or not. === Find out the French town where your Avoyelles, Louisiana name originated at www.avoyelles.com ----- _____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
