Geri Weir told me about the website for BLM the land management site, www.glorecords.blm.gov/ I found Miles Madison filed a land patent in New Orleans. The issue date is Jan. 7, 1897. I couldn't get the whole image to print out. It cut some of it off. I hope I can figure out how to get it all. I have the form to order Land Patents. I just had the Ark. Land patents. Thomas Henry Dawson "Cap" Eddy (1845-1863) was Sarah Ann Eddy's brother, not her father. Their parents were Alexander Eddy & Rebecca Tinsley. Their other siblings were Anna E. Eddy (b. 1830), John S. Eddy (b. 1833), Nancy A. Eddy (b. 1835), and James N. Eddy b. 1838). Don't have marriages, dates of death, or descendants on any of the siblings.
