I would like to know if anyone else is researching the Conrad family of the German Coast area. My gggrandmother was Ursule Conrad who married Cyprien Vicknair on July 25, 1848 in St. John the Bapt. Parish. Ursule died sometime in 1867, and Cyprien and the children moved to Livingston Parish. My grandmother always referred to a "cousin Tia(?)" who lived in St. John the Baptist Parish but she never would explain how this "cousin" was related or anything else that could help me find her.
