The new book on the origins of many German Coast families by Albert J Robichaux Jr is great. Not only does he present the European origins of many of the original settlers, but he also presents new information about their travels and eventual settlement on the German Coast. All in all, good reading as well as an excellent reference work. Some are in my family tree and I need to find out which of them, if not all went to St Charles Parish. Or maybe someone has the same brothers in their family tree.
