I am in a particulary bad position to answer any questions regarding genealogy right now as my computer has died and will be out of commission for a couple of weeks more. There is a book by Andrew Booth on Louisiana Confederates that lists the names of those who served & their commands. You can check your local library for a copy or try to get on on interlibrary loan. This information was available for free searches a couple of weeks ago on Ancestry's Library Search at: http://www.ancestry.com/ancestry/search.asp but I could not access it today without a password.
