I know that genealogy research slows down this time of year (at least it does for me, anyway). I plan on getting back on track as soon as the New Year begins. Here is a site that will help you understand and use an LDS Family History Center (the best resource for research). Try Ancestry Hometown Academy. BTW, I know that you all see me forward messages from Ancestry periodically. This is because Ancestry's site is the closest thing to having the records at the Salt Lake Family History Library online. The LDS Church doesn't have their records online yet (and probably won't for quite a while) and Ancestry has done a lot of research from the Library. In fact they published a book that lists all the resources at the LDS Library. This is a good site to use in your research. ~Michelle Fradella, Coordinator St. John The Baptist Parish, LAGenWeb ==== LASTJOHN Mailing List ====
