Hello Everyone, I am looking for family members of the Leblanc family of south Louisiana. Can anyone tell me if there are any books available for the Leblanc family? And if anyone reading this is also reasearching this name I would be interested in finding more about One, Morris Leblanc of Lafouche who moved to Orleans Parish ca 1920. His parents are listed as Paul Leblanc and Marie Leblanc. No location for them given. He married Velma Cecile Troxler in June of 1926 in Orleans Parish. Not only does he present the European origins of many of the original settlers, but he also presents new information about their travels and eventual settlement on the German Coast. All in all, good reading as well as an excellent reference work. Hi everyone, Since this list is so brand new and I am new at being a listowner, I hope you will bear with me. When I sent the "test" message a few days ago, I didn't get the message for some reason. The purpose of this list will be to share genealogical information with other St. John The Baptist Parish researchers.
