    1. RE: [LARAPIDE] GURIE surname
    2. Ieva, Geraldine
    3. Thanks, it is a mystery. Maybe Ida and George were siblings. -----Original Message----- From: Harold L Lawrence [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, May 13, 2000 11:34 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LARAPIDE] GURIE surname Geraldine and Patricia, There is a George W. Gibson - 4 Jul 1871/7 May 1957 LA Pvt. Co. L 2 Regt US Vol. Inf. Spanish American War. He is buried in the Mt. Olivet cemetery, Pineville, La., among other Gibsons, with no wife for Geo. W. But there is an Ida M. GURIE Dixon - 1 Sep 1873/9 Mar 1921 Wife of Jas. L. Dixon, James L. Dixon - 7 May 1871/14 Oct 1945 buried in the same cemetery. But this doesn't help with my Ida Gurie m. to Napoleon A. Lawrence in 1893. I have nothing on Hensely Anne Gurie. But I do have an email from Patricia Carol about an Annie Laurie (sp. Annie Laura or Anna Laurie) Which very well could be Gurie. A mystery to solve! harold ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 12, 2000 11:07 PM Subject: Re: [LARAPIDE] GURIE surname > Hi Geraldine, > > I checked the 1880 book and there is the following: > > Page 89 > GIBSON (1) > George W. b. 1871 La. married 1894 to Hensey Ann Gurie.
