Perskins, J. P. with W. J. Branch, Clemmie Branch and L. C. Perkins as witnesses. B. 10 Sept 1883, Elmer, Rapides Parish, La ... D. 12 Jan 1936. They lived in Otis, La. =========== F2d. Don Everette Marler. B. 2 July 1877, Rapides Parish, La. D. 12 July 1951, Rapides Parish, La. Bur: Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville, La M: Clara Ann Scallan 4 Sept 1902 in Alexandria Rapides Parish, La at the home of the bride. Rev. C. C. Miller, pastor of 3rd St M. E. Church, South, officiating. The wedding was a very quiet affair, only relatives and a few friends being present. The couple left soon after the ceremony for New Orleans, over the T & P., to spend a few days there before returning to Alexandria, to live. B. 12 April 1877.
