Hi everyone, It's been a while since I have been on line.. I have been working on the family photo album, scrap book and now the cook book.. My problem is.. I need to know the Louisiana recipe for 1. Pickled Pears... and 2. Good old fashioned Hot Tamale's!! My grandmother used to make them all the time but she is no longer with us so I cannot ask her and no one in the family has a clue.. so I am hoping someone on this list will know the good version's of the recipes.. hehe.. I know the basic hot tamale recipe but it isn't the same.. and I am tired of making hot tamale's trying to figure it out.. lol you can only eat so many in a month!! Thanks in advance, Jennifer
