Is there an infant son or daughter of Robert "Bob" S. Lawson buried at the Rougeau Cemetery? Is Julian H. Lawson buried there? My grandfather, Robert "Bob" S. Lawson (b. March 25, 1868; d. 1941) married Nina Ruth Hanks (b. October 27, 1891; d. July 16, 1962). They married on February 12, 1908. She was only 16 when they married, he was about 40. My mother (Ruth Lawson Willis) said she was afraid of her father and she rarely every spoke of him. Mother was very close to her mother Nina Ruth Hanks Lawson. If, I remember correctly, mother said her father (Robert "Bob" Sivarin/Severand Lawson) was buried down in the "French Country," whatever that means. If not, I would guess he is buried in an unmarked-grave at Rougeau Cemetery, where both his parents are buried. I will check my files also, and mother's old letters.
