Living there (or near there) from birth until graduation, I knew the Staffords, Jacksons and Jones in Lecompte, but I can not recall their first names. I still have family living in Lecompte, who could tell me about these families, but unforturnely they are not online, and I don't get up there near as often as I would like. Mr. G. P. Davis (I don't recall his first name) and T. L. (Thelma) Wallace were employees of the Bank of Lecompte. Wade H. Jones, the notary was the bank president. I am not sure if this was Wade Sr., or Wade Jr., who was called "Dooney" (that maybe misspelled). Wade the third is continuing the family tradition, and is the banker there now, and may be able to help you. I hope this is of some help. Hazel Payne Miley LeBlanc
