Peggy, thanks for the note on the meeting. I would have loved to come but I live near Houston and won't be able to make it. I would assume you are related to Hypolite Beaubouef out of Avoyelles Parish. My great-great-great grandmother was one of his daughters, Elizabeth Beaubouef. Her husband was William Peter Smith. I do have a copy of the Beaubouef book that was published in 1970. Have you done any work on the Beaubouefs?
