On April 1, 1861, William T. Crenshaw of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, purchased land in neighboring Grant Parish on the north. The land included the SENE 10-6-2, the NESE of 10-6-2 and the NWSW 11-6-2. Does anyone know anything about this William T. Crenshaw. Does anyone have access to an 1860 census of either Rapides or Grant parishes and can check if he shows up.
