    3. Hi Terry (wherever you are) - John A Strother & his 1st wife, Eliza Ann Willis, had a son named Henry Zachariah Strother who married Malissa Ann (Conly) Conley. Henry Z & Malissa Ann married 27 Feb 1869 in Rapides Parish, LA & are buried in Section A Row 16 of Oak Hill Cemetery, Oakdale, Allen Parish, LA. A daughter of Henry Z & Malissa Ann, Elizabeth, married David Crockett Strother (we called him Paw Dave). They married 31 Dec 1886 in Rapides Parish & are buried in Row 2 left side, Union Hill Cemetery, Union Hill, Rapides Parish, LA. Henry Z & Malissa Ann are my GGgrandparents. Elizabeth & David Crockett are my Ggrandparents. The daughter of Elizabeth & David, Ellie Mae, was my paternal grandmother. Am just trying to get her family line straight. I've seen Azariah Columbus & wife M.E. (3 Jan 1874 - 15 Aug 1904) buried at New Hope Cemetery, New Hope Baptist Church, Hineston with children N. O. (b 9 Feb 1898) & Joe V b 1898. Am familiar with the area being called Calcasieu as I was raised in Pitkin. Hope to hear from you soon! Azariah Columbus Strother is my grandfather. He was married 2 times and had a total of 21 children, my mother is the youngest child. Azariah and his first wife Elizabeth are buried at the cemetery in Calcasieu, also 5 of their children (I think). His second wife was Ellen Strother. I am out of town right now for the holidays so I don't have my files with me, however, when I return home I can forward you what ever you need. How are you related to this line? Just curious. Let me know what information you are looking for and I'll send you what I can when I get home.
