My grandfather called himself Rouchion when he left New Orleans around 1919. However, his birth certificate has the Rochon surname. He was born in New Orleans in 1887. I was told that there were Rouchions in Rapides. Would anyone know them? I hope so. I always thought my grandfather was the only person to have this name.
