I think myfamily.com is terrible. My passwords never work. I wonder if they block web tv users. A mailing list is much better . Jeanne. Support the Arnold Hill Cemetery Association. Please send donations to William Rice, P.O. Box 303, Elkins, W.V., 26241. or to Jeanne Russell, 1002 Smith Ave., Lebanon, Pa., 17042. Thank you. I am interested. Jeri Thompson GThomp4369@aol.com
It's a password thing--just answer their offer, and you will be sent an invite. I do not believe it ends up being free.

This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WEB.2ACI/434.1 Message Board Post: unless they are catholic there will be no Birth rec. Death cert for the state didn't start till 1914 and even then they were not mandatory . A lot of people sort of fell throught the cracks. Best bet is Church records. The church 's in chennyville are old and may still have the records .You could check the Sextons rec and church membership rolls
I'm not sure - there were some Welch's in our line living in Monroe - descended from Warren Welch. I also know there were Welch relatives in Alexandria and around there. Warren Welch livied in St. Francisville. His first wife died and was buried there and their children were 'fostered' out. I'm not sure that they were ever all reunited - although Dr. Jacob Perry Welch did reunite with his father Warren. In any event, if you learn of any other names farther back - please let me know. I am going to keep your email in case I can establish a connection later on. Teri Welch
