I've checked the St. Bernard Parish mail list but can't find my answer, so maybe someone here knows. I always check their website for marriages, divorces, and other records for the people in the New Orleans area. New Orleans people sometimes get their marriage licenses there. The past two days or so, I haven't been able to access the website. Does anyone know why? Have they changed the URL? There is a new clerk of court and he is supposed to be updating the website. I truly hope they don't go like some of the other parishclerk of court sites that charge $50 a year just to view the indexes. I heard they had the clerk of court from Livingston parish helping him. Livingston parish charges the $50. I don't think they should charge just to view.
