Jim,   From the “Changes in Street Names” website published online by the Louisiana Division of the NOPL http://nutrias.org/~nopl/facts/streetnames/streetsl.htm it appears that Levee, if it was above Canal Street became today’s South Peters. Early maps also show a Levee Street below Canal Street, which became today’s Decatur Street.   Given the 1811 date of your record, my guess is that your Levee Street is today’s Decatur. Because your date is so early, I’m unable to make a conversion to a current address.
