Hi guys, A question, why am I finding New Orleans listed, sometimes in Jefferson Parish and sometimes in Orleans Parish? Am finding this a whole lot on Ancestry. Thanks, Jan S - Orlando, FL
Jan S, Can you give an example or two? Some of this may relate to the fact that parts of present-day New Orleans (Orleans Parish) were once in Jefferson Parish, including what were once the cities of Lafayette, Jefferson, and Carrollton.
