My one and only known NO area name is HANAFIN. They came from Ireland, probably Kerry, about 1835 and had a son James, born 1839 or 1841. Supposedly he was orphaned and went out on his own and showed up in IL in 1860 working as a farm hand. Legend has it that he lived with his mother's sister's family, name unknown.
