    3. Dear List: I am having a difficult time finding a child who was born to my grgrgrandfather and grgrgrandmother, probably when they lived in Donaldsonville, but I won’t rule out New Orleans, since they were there by 1880. There is a note that there was a boy and a girl born to them, but I don’t have any dates. I am, however, counting them in my total. I thought I had found everyone in this family until I looked a little closer at the census. The 1900 and 1910 census listed them as having had 13 children, 6 of whom were alive in 1900. I had always had a record of 12 children, 6 of whom were living in 1900. In the 1880 census, there were only 2 children listed (the two eldest daughters – the eldest son had died two years earlier). The parents are Simeone Modeste Fucich, Sr. and Caliste Martinez Fucich (m. 1874) They had the following children that I know of. Boy Fucich Girl Fucich Joseph Anthony Fucich (b. 1875) Johanna Delta Fucich (b. 1877) Isabella (Bella) Louise Fucich (b.1879) Simeone Modeste Fucich, Jr. (1881) Able Joseph Fucich (b. 1884) John Daste Fucich (b.1886) Joseph Andrew Fucich (b. 1887) Lambert Jadat Fucich (b. 1888) Emile Edward Fucich (b. 1890) Vladimir V. Fucich (b. 1893) If anyone has any idea how I might go about finding the identity of my “missing person” please let me know your suggestions, comments, etc. The “boy” and “girl” were obviously not born at the beginning of the marriage, but I would bet that their “births” fell within the first 6 children. Early in a marriage, women often had a child each year, and there are several “gaps” in this couple’s early years. If you have any suggestions, please let me know or contact me at rooneytoon29@earthlink.net Thanx for any help, peggy
