I am assuming you are referring to the USGENWEB site. If you have been away for awhile you may have missed the news. But about a month ago Rootsweb moved over to Ancestry.com's server. And so many USGENWEB sites have been moving away from Rootsweb for various reasons. There has been a ton of debate about whether this is a good thing or bad and I don't intend on saying it is one or the other. I don't recall the new website right now, but I am sure someone will post a followup with it.
