Hello Judy, The IGI can be a great resource. I found the place of origin of one of my families in Germany using the IGI. I also checked out the IGI for Gullungs in Zinswiller. I found what presumably are Jacob/Jacques' parents (Jean Jacques Gullung and Charlotte Breiner) and four siblings. Based on the records, the parents of Jean Jacques were Antoine Gullung and Catherine Hien. It appears they had at least eight children. There were many Breiners in Zinswiller and one possibility for a Charlotte, but I couldn't find a record to link her to your family.
