Barney - When did Johannes come to the U.S. and at what age? Could he have brought with a uniform if he was in military in Germany? Also, was he a member of the Masons or similar type group? I have a picture of my grandfather (much later than your picture) in a uniform that a Mason has identified to me as a uniform of the Knights of that organization. Also when were the Knights of Columbus of the Catholic church started? Could it be a Knights Templar uniform? Gene
