I would guess the records from these closed churches are going to go to the Archives. I think the Archbishop is behaving very badly--after all, look where we got him--from Boston, after the sex scandals there. He seems to have no clue about New Orleans culture. Look how he tried to close down St. Augustin's, which is SO important to the community, and may succeed in doing it yet, because, with Father LeDoux ousted, there's not as much motivation to go there for services. But the folks at the Archives are a different matter. They're extremely nice.
