Boy, Morgan, this just reinforces my opinion of how very confusing these folks are. Yes, I do have a reference to Andre Claude Baptiste Poiret.... and I have Francoise... but I don't have who her parents were. Could she be the same as Marie Francoise who was married to Pierre Couturier???? Was Marie Francoise married twice? Oh woe is me. I am more confused than before. Here is some of what I have on Marie Francoise. Maybe someone can figure out if there is a connection between the two. 1. Found in the Selected Papers of Winston de Ville on page 69 XIII New Orleans Baptisms: 1728 July 15 Marie Françoise Le Kintrek this was found In Etat-Civil de Louisiane; certified by Fr. Raphael de Luxembourg and is dated 24 April 1729. Original Document is found in AC, G1 412, f. 68-69 v. According to Fr. Raphael, this list was taken directly from the New Orleans baptismal register, which has not survived. 2. Someone sent the following to me: I ran the name Marie Lekintrek with Louisiana and found the following: Name: Marie Francoise De Dupont Lekintrek Spouse: Pierre Couturier Parents: Jean Joseph Lekintrek , Anne Marie Posse Doss Birth Place: New Orleans, LA Birth Date: 1706 Marriage Place: Mc New Orleans, LA Marriage Date: 19 December 1744 Death Date: 1756 ------------------------------ 3.
