    2. Whenever I try to use Newsbank remotely from my home computer through my local library system I get the screen that tells me I have to have a paid subscription to Newsbank to access the records. Why is that? 3. Danna: When you enter your local library web page look for a link such as "Database" or something similar then it should lead you to state library choice then enter your local library card number then you should probably see Newsbank on the right hand column about half way down. If you still have trouble your local librarian probably could give you instructions to get to the State Library where you will not have a charge. Dont sign onto NewsBank directly as there will be a charge.
