As far as I can tell, the way to pronounce Bossier is Bo-jour or Bo- shure. But, I wouldn't assume that's the way you would pronounce your family name. In Louisiana, it seems nothing is pronounced the way you might think it would be. For instance, we have a city just southeast of hear that is spelled Cloutierville.
