Hi Colleen, My Thomas Burns married Katty Maher on 20 Apr 1874 in New Orleans. Her parents at other times were known as Patrick (1826-1887) and Henora (Honora) (1831-1897) Meaher. When Katty died, she was known as Catherine Meaher Burns. However, she is buried in Metairie Cemetery in a Keenan - Meaher tomb. Catherine's sister Margaret married Dr. James Keenen. I have never discovered any other members of the Meaher family, nor anyone, anywhere using that spelling. How about you?
