My GGgrandfather, Rudolphe Baumgartner, died in Aug, 1900 as the result of a trolley/train accident and then today while doing some research for Cheramie one of her ancestors died at age 14, on 19 Aug 1900 as the result of a train accident. I just rarely let coincidences pass me by. Any ideas how to research train/trolley accident in Aug 1900 in New Orleans? Would there have been a police report? Some sort of inquest?
