I'm wondering what will happen to my own collection when it's time for me to join the ancestors. I'll donate some of my books to a a local research library, but the rest...I'm putting on disk, so if the hard copies get thrown out, at least there will be a record if some elusive descendant wants to take up the quest. Or, I could tie my kids' inheritance to keeping all of my stuff. I like the "tie up kids' inheritance" idea. One of them have to keep it safe, get it all put on line for free use of any and all family or no one gets all my $$$$ LOL but hey maybe it will work.
