Colleen, I checked the available Indiana newspapers on GenealogyBank for Philip Powell and his parents. I did not find any references to them. I do not have a subscription to Footnote. Hopefully someone else can check it. I did find Philip on Findagrave.com. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.
