I look up a lot of death certificates, birth certificates, marriage certificates and obituaries for other researchers.  In order to make things easier for the next researcher to come along, I try to submit all of them to the appropriate GenWeb archive.  I admit it can take a little time and I admit I have a backlog now, but I've benefited so much from the information in the Orleans Parish archives that I just wanted to pass that tip along to others.    You can find the appropriate links to submit information here:  http://www.genrecords.org/   I'd also like to encourage people to register your loved ones' final resting places on Find a Grave and to search for your elusive folks there.  That sight was pointed out to me just a few months ago and was such a resource to me that I signed up as a volunteer.   Barbara Munson Volunteer Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness (www.raogk.org) and Find a Grave (www.findagrave.com)
