    2. Norm, Got them confused, sorry about that, guess I mixed them up because LDS sometimes goes by FamilyHistoryLibrary, but go to the site you listed, which shows my GGgrandparents and then go to bottom of the page, down to indexing project (batch) number and click on it. There are over 300 marriages listed for the Lafayette Presbyterian Or Fulton St Church,New Orleans,Orleans,Louisiana. This is the film #1311102 check it out on the old site - https://familysearch.org/eng/library/fhlc/ It give you some info on the church, like "Church organized in 1843 as the First Presbyterian Church in the 4th District, also called Fulton Street Church because of location. The church burned in 1860; on renewal of charter in 1866, the church was named Lafayette Presbyterian Church." 3. My ancestors that I found in that church were Adam Born and Wilhelmina (Mena) Rice, 3 August 1854. If that helps. -----Original Message----- From: laorlean-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:laorlean-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of jans884@bellsouth.net Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2012 9:54 AM To: Norm Hellmers; LAOrleans Subject: Re: [LAORLEAN] Looking for Lottman Rudolphe Baumgartner and Seraphine (spelled on their records as Sarahphine) Hepp. Norm, they have some of the records from that church that did not get destroyed in one of the fires... 3. Jan - Thanks so much for this info. Interestingly, Susan's brother, my g-g grandfather Jacob Born was married in the same church in 1854. I have Ancestry, and have also searched FamilySearch.org, but have still found nothing on a Lottman / Born marriage in 1841. I just looked up your suggestion "familyhistory.org" and it took me right back to Ancestry. When I found them in the 1850 Census, the spelling was so badly mangled that it is a wonder anyone ever found it - it was listed as "Sochman"! (I have just corrected it this morning on Ancestry's records!) Also, I would love to see a map of New Orleans that would show where Jefferson Parish is in relationship to Orleans Parish. Did Jefferson Parish merge with Orleans? Thanks again, Kathy -----Original Message----- From: laorlean-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:laorlean-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of jans884@bellsouth.net Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2012 9:16 AM To: LAOrleans Subject: Re: [LAORLEAN] Looking for Lottman Kathy, My GGgrandparents were also located in Lafayette, Jefferson Parish in the 1850 census.
