    3. Alexa, I contacted the University of Notre Dame Archives. As I understand it, sometime in the 1890s the Archdiocese of N.O. transferred their records to Notre Dame. Later on, copies of certain records were sent back to N.O. The book, FRENCH AND SPANISH RECORDS OF LA. by Henry Putney Beers (pg. 156), says dispensations allowing related couples to marry can be found in the University of Notre Dame Archives. I'm now waiting for an answer to my email to them asking for help. 3. Barbara, Want to send you a big thanks for the info you have published through Find-a-Grave. You have a pic of my father's family's tomb in Metairie cemetery. I haven't been there since I was very young. Glad to know I can find it now due to the diligent efforts of folks like you and Dee and others who have memorialized final resting place of many of our ancestors in photographs. Thanks again. NOPL has obits indexed up to 1972 and Newsbank has the Times Picyune from 1989 to current. What about the years in between 1972 and 1989?
