I order most of my genie books online but two of the local places I want to check out. They are good bookstores in general but since I haven't checked them out I can't say what their genealogy holdings are like. I've been to Octavia Bookstore but they didn't have much on genealogy although they do have quite a bit on local (New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana) history that I found useful. It's been quite a while since I've been in Maple Street Bookstore, so I can't vouch for their selection. Not if you have a good virus/spam program, but I sure would suggest changing your e-mail password every so often to stop stuff like this. Judy, You asked about the “1942-45 city directory.” You were given the information from the 1942 reverse directory. You can find the 1945-1946 Pickering data here: http://goo.gl/7S3cq or here: http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~neworleans/pickering/ Norm

I was about to ask the same thing. What is this? Looks fishy. I never opened but sent it to spam, then deleted. I received several of these. I hate these hackers. They hacked into my hotmail address and was never able to get on again no matter what I tried. I have not opened all of the returned mail with the subject line re:. It looks as if many people in my address book received the email. I am careful with the places I go on the internet and have good virus protection, so I have no idea how my address book was tampered with. My apologies for any misunderstanding. Penny T
Your e-mail has been hacked. Change your password and that will fix it.
