They are good bookstores in general but since I haven't checked them out I can't say what their genealogy holdings are like.     3. I've been to Octavia Bookstore but they didn't have much on genealogy although they do have quite a bit on local (New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana) history that I found useful. It's been quite a while since I've been in Maple Street Bookstore, so I can't vouch for their selection.
