The name Landry is a very old surname in France. In the middle ages, the surname was spelled Landericus and sometimes Landri. In more modern times, there are a number of different spellings. They are: Landry Landri L'Andre Londre Londry There are more I am sure. Maybe some one on the list can help Charlotte from Baton Rouge with more variations of the name.

    3. Hi Charlotte and Don, My Landry line hails from River Bourgeois, Richmond County, Nova Scotia. I have encountered these variations in the Nova Scotia Archives and in various church records: Landrie Landris Take Care, Paul :-{) Lower Sackville, NS <landryp@staff.ednet.ns.ca> Quoting Don2717@aol.com: > In a message dated 4/20/01 7:35:12 PM Central Daylight Time, Kera103034 > > writes: > > > Hi Don > > Are there more then one spelling of LANDRY .would like to know them > if > there > > is . > > Charlotte > > B.R.La. > > The name Landry is a very old surname in France.
