The only information he has is as follows: His great-Grandfather : August(e) J. Landry; birth place unknown; died ca 1950's in St. Charles Parish; worked all of his youth as a carpenter on a plantation in White Castle; married Laura Antonia (not sure if this is her maiden name). They had 4 children who lived past childhood: Claudia, Hortense, Elmire (his grandfather) was Nathaniel Jacques (b 1897). He married Pauline Cambre and had two children: Ramsey Joseph Gloria May Ramsey is his father If anyone has a set of the baton Rouge Catholic Diocese Church Records, maybe they could check to see if any of these Landrys are recorded .
