Subject: question > In cleaning out my mothers home I found four forks (sterling) with the left tine ( prong) missing. Ideas have been --- done to eat (pick) crabs to feeding a baby. Has anyone ever run into this in the past? Three forks are from T. Hausmanns and Sons (New Orleans jewelry store) and one is from a Charleston Silversmith line. The three were my Grandmother's -- she lived in New Orleans from about 1908 until 1958.
