    1. Are we suffering from a complete meltdown?
    2. I guess the war in Afganistan and the anthrax contamination of the mail, news media and government offices has taken a toll on everyone's everyday life. The economy has taken a nosedive with retail sales and other activity coming to an all time low. All of this has caused a ripple effect on just about everything, including activity on the genealogy mailing lists, etc. I noticed this awhile back and made a comment and there was some response, but if my e-mail mailbox is any indication, genealogy is way down on the list of things that we are thinking about for the past 2-1/2 months. Adding to this, the virus attacks on the computers this year has made us all gun shy and reluctant to open e-mail messages that are not specific and from someone we recognize. I am sure I have missed messages snet to me because I have deleted them rather than open them and have my PC become infected with a virus, or find myself accepting pornographic material that is then too hard to shake. Am I alone in this? Don Landry don2717@a0l.com
