Don Landry shows the Amand Landry b. 1728 who married Marguerite Melancon as the son of Antoine Landry & Marie Blanche LeBlanc, as does the Landry CD as follows: Line of Succession is: Rene Landry dit LaCadet & Marie Bernard Antoione Landry & Marie Catherine Thibodeaux Antoine Landry & Marie Blanche LeBlanc Amand Landry & Marguerite Melancon Jean Pierre Landry & Francoise-Marie Landry Jean Pierre Landry & Marie-Azalie Comeau The Landry CD also shows an Amand Landry b. 1748 married to a Marguerite Melancon in the following line of succession: Rene Landry dit LaCadet & Marie Bernard Abraham Landry I & Marie Josephe Guilbeaux Charles Landry I & Marie Marguerite LeBlanc Amand Landry & Marguerite Melancon This Amand Landry & Marguerite Melancon's children are almost identical to the above Amand born 1728. Some are even showing the same birth dates and spouses, and there's a Pierre born 1784 just as the above Jean Pierre married to Francoise Marie Landry. Are these the same people??? D.J.
