I am Allen John Rogers and I was born in Franklin and raised in Morgan City, Louisiana. I am a descendant on my maternal side of Rene Landry and Marie Bernard and on my paternal side of Roger Caissy and Marie Francoise Poirier. I do not have a web site, but I am a contributor to the www.caissy.com web site run by my cousin Ed Rogers. I am also the (unofficial) historian for the Roger/Rogers/Caissy family association and have written one book on the family history and genealogy of the descendants of Roger Caissy who came to live in Louisiana for our reunion in August of 1999 at Gheens, Louisiana. My deceased mother's maiden name is Helen Landry daughter of Willie Landry and Felicie Lenormand and my deceased father's named is Harris Anthony Rogers, son of Seraphin Roger an Marie Barrios.
