I just went to Holyoke's city hall to go through their books on birth marriage and death. We're allowed to go through the books listed by a group of years. The only info in book is name and date. If you want a copy, they charge. You could call and maybe they'll check if its the right record. My father,Richard Francis Landry, s/o Francis, s/o Henry, s/o Guillaume, s/o Placide(New Brunswick), s/o Thadee,s/o Jean Baptiste, s/o Amand(New Brunswick),etc. Guillaume and wife came to Fitchburg,MA, married and raised family 1886. Many Landry's from them in Fitchburg today. My grandfather Francis was born and raised in Fitchburg, after he married, moved to South Hadley, MA which borders Holyoke in 1940's. Me and my brother were born in Holyoke in 1960's.While at Holyoke's City Hall, I did see Lan! dry's listed in the book of death only, here are the ones I saw from 1957-1965: Arthur L. Landry(book 15 page 234) yr 1959, William Landry(book 16 page 65)year 1962,1962 Francis H Landry(book16 page75),1963, Edward Landry(book 16 page 92), and 1965Landry, No name listed(book 17 page 16), I assume this was an infant, no name was listed.The only Landry related to me that I'm sure of is Francis H. in 1962.
